First, I would like to thank my March swap partner for being so patient and understanding. March and April were horrible months full of events that threw me for loops. Then to top it off, the original March block would not go together correctly. That whirling star just would not whirl even with paper piecing. I gave up yesterday and moved on to another 1930's block. I hope they like them. Charlene Here's preview of all three:
Hello everyone, I am REALLY sorry that I didn't get the swap partners out until tonight, I had a busy week and didn't look ahead to the fact the partners needed to go out tonight (otherwise I would have started it sooner!)
But as of right now the block partners have been emailed out. There are a few people that might not have been matched up this round. If you did not get an email and are confused why, please feel free to shoot me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you do not communicate with me (or your partner) I do not know that you would still like to be a part of the group!
I was thrilled to see not one, but two blocks from Linda B! These will go perfectly in the retro quilt I'm planning for my blockswapadventure blocks! In addition, she sent me this great piece of 1930s fabric to boot! Thanks so much, Linda, for being such a great swap partner!
Laurrie in Canada was my partner for April. She asked for white and blues. She also asked if we could do two blocks for each other instead of one. In the blue's there is white designs. Wish the photo would have showed it better.
