August's Block for Sandra


This is going out in today's mail but I wanted to give Sandra R a picture to see since I figured it would take a little extra time with going to Canada.  She asked for a Maple Leaf which I was able to use up some of my "maple leaf" fabric from my stash!  I liked this one so much I may end up doing a whole quilt of it

    I made a quilt out of this block for my parents who used to make maple syrup until the tenants burned down the sugar shack (But that's another story). I finished the top years ago, now I need to get it quilted. I highly recommend making a whole quilt out of this block. :o)
