Michelle requested Civil War fabrics for her block. I didn't have any so I had to order a charm pack. I love how these swaps force you to work in ways that you normally don't.
Michelle said she likes scrappy, I hope she meant it because this block is scrappy! Michelle, your block went out in the mail yesterday.
I, too,like the idea of working with fabrics or patterns that we don't usually use. If we like it - great! And if we don't, it's only one block. Can't wait to see the whole block.
