April block for Michelle has arrived

Michelle had let me know the block I made for her has arrived, but I forgot to post a full pic here on the group blog, so here it is.

Michelle asked for either Birds in the air, Road to California or Wagon tracks. 

I made the Birds in the air block and really enjoyed the way this block came together - another favourite added to my list - thanks Michelle ;-)

Block for Sylvia

Here is a peek for Sylvia.  I am late(life has been crazier than usual around here)but she knows it is on its way : )  Her block request was for a pastel block of my choice that she could use in a baby quilt.  I hope this will work well with all the other blocks she receives!

This is the first applique block I got and it is lovely.

Preview for Jody S. in FL

Here's a preview for Jody S. in FL.  She didn't state a block preference and only a few color preferences so I hope she likes this block!  It was really fun to make.  :)

It's pretty scrappy - and I hope she doesn't mind that it came out kind of girly.  It is bright though!  This might not go out until this weekend seeing as how I don't get off work before the post office closes, but it will go out this week!

Blocks...to and from Susan

Here's a sneak peak of the block I made for Susan in Spokane.  She likes batiks and teals, blues and greens.  The green in the batik really pops when paired with the 2nd green fabric...at least in real life.  Picture doesn't do it justice. Also shows more purple than I remember seeing.   But it's done and should be in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday.

Oh and you may remember Susan's little mishap making this block that she talked about here.  Well, guess what, I also got to keep the mistake...a little mini me!
