These are the scrappy blocks I received from Charlene, along with some gorgeous fabric. Thank you so much.

September blocks for Charlene
Charlene requested Bonnie Hunter's Crayon Box -
Greens, teals, and white on white OR blacks, reds, and white on white. Fantastic blocks to stitch, and I hope will blend in well with your planned project. Cheers, Kerry in Australia.

January block for Charlene
Charlene asked for a Bonnie Hunter Crayon Box block in shades of red, white and black. The block was sent middle of January but appears to be taking the long way to reach its new home. I hope that when Charlene sees it in its full colour glory she she pleased with it.

Block from Agnes
My camera shot does not do justice to any of what I received from Agnes! The block she sent is so over the top and the fat quarters were an unexpected surprise. Thank you so much, Agnes.

Package for Agnes
I mailed the package to Agnes at 4pm Wednesday. The postmistress and I had quite a long conversation about what was in the package and the cost of fabric. She told me the limit for the package was 4 pounds, but I only sent a little over 1. Had I know that before I would have stuffed more lagniappe into it. LOL.

Preview for Agnes
Blues, purples, greens, and golds of Mardi Gras in the Box Square pattern, a 1930's pattern made with hand-dyes.
Did you know that it cost the same to mail a stuffed envelop or a stuffed box to Ireland? So guess what Agnes is getting from Louisiana. I do hope she likes the block - old but modern- and the lagniappe! Charlene

Sneak Peak for Melissa D.

Peek for Debra A
I know that for most people that wonky is easy, but this block has been a challenge for me. Nothing came out as measured and I had the hardest time getting the block to measure 12 1/2". I was ready to put a frame around it but stopped myself. So, Debra A., here is a little hint of summer coming your way.

Block(s) for Linda
I just couldn't make up my mind which red, white and blue combination I liked best. So I decided to cop out and let Linda decide. This block required more math education since all I had was a picture and EQ7 wasn't giving me what I needed. It was fun! I am learning new techniques each and every time.

Thankyou Charlene!
I received these quite a few days ago, but have not had the chance to get to the computer to post about them!
These are the TWO awesome blocks Charlene sent me, along with some of the fabric for them, which I am thinking would look great to make a scrappy border when all the blocks go together! Thanks so much Charlene!

Here is a sneak peek of the block I am sending to Charlene:
We both said we like surprises, so you will have to wait for her to get the whole thing before you see it ;)
I hope she likes it!

Blocks from Brenda
This has been a wonderful adventure so far with two great swap partners. In January it was Kurt with his wonderful wife and I didn't think it would get better than that. The block was the bomb and the mini quilt was perfection. This month Brenda was my swap partner and it got even better!

Bren and I even have a tenative lunch & shop hopping date in March to meet each other and to see some of the quilt shops in the Memphis area. I am so excited!
Here are the wonderful blocks she sent me with Kurt's block peeking in at the bottom.
Lator Gators! May the fabric you need appear in your stash and Keep 2011 STRESS FREE!
