A Block for Suzanne in Australia

I had so much fun!  This is my 1st ever block swap.  I have only been quilting since August of this year.  

Suzanne wanted a log cabin block, and she said that she liked bright, happy colors.

A Block for Susan in WA

Hi, I'm Staci, aka The Confused Quilter. Here's a peek at the block I made for Susan in WA.  Susan likes batiks, and blues, greens and earth tones, and both modern and traditional blocks.  She left the block choice up to me, which I found rather daunting, trying to choose a block out of all the world and make it for a stranger!  Keeping my fingers crossed that she likes this block!

Cajun Twist For Kurt

Kurt asked for a take on Art Deco Theme. Mmmm...small town cajun has no idea what that is so  to the internet to find out. Straight lines with lots of rich dark colors.WOW! Love the concept. Just one problem - only solids...not happening!
So Kurt is getting Art Deco with a crawfish eating, boudin toting, cracklin poppin' twist! Here's a preview...
