Forgive me, Gina

I received this BEAUTIFUL basket block from Gina several days ago.  I posted on my blog, but forgot to post here.  I certainly want to share this with as many people as possible!

I LOVE this swap.  I'm collecting baskets of flowers, and I'm going to have the most awesome quilt ever!  Thanks for your contribution, Gina~

Been a little MIA, but here is the lovely star block I received from Brenda from WA

Thanks so much Brenda! I love your block and your cute little quilting card!
Sorry your block is delayed, am getting on that ASAP!

Peek for Linda in Georgia

Here's a sneak peek of the block I made for Linda for the June swap.  Yes, I am early for a change : )
Linda ask for  a pastel floral with roses, and she gave several color choices and I picked the green and pink. Her block selections were numerous and I will wait to tell you when I show the entire block.  Hope she likes it!

Sneak peak for Karen

As usual I'm running behind. I made my May block for Karen Friday and I didn't like the way it turned out so I made another one Saturday. That one turned out much better. Here is a little peak.

I received my May block from Karen yesterday - ain't it cool

Wonky House from Canada

Thanks so much to Mary C from Canada for my wonky house block. It is the most colorful yet! The yoyo's are especially fun. I have never made a yoyo, so I am impressed.

Thank you for taking the time to think of me in a creative way. This is so much fun!

May Block for Sue

Well here is a sneak peek of the May block for my partner Sue.  So sorry for the delay in mailing it.  And honestly the photos I took do not do it justice.  The colors here are not true to life (although it's hard to explain how they differ) but hopefully they're what you had in mind with your preferences.  I enjoyed working with the bright, autumn toned batiks.  -wendy

Blocks from Mary

Aren't these blocks beautiful?  Not only did Mary make me one red, white, and blue block - she made me two!  I love the true colors in these blocks.  Thank you so much, Mary!

From Shannon to Anorina

Hello everyone!! Anorina here is a sneak peek at your block. I am not sure how long ago I mailed it of but you might already have it. I had fun making this block. It is a pattern out of the new 100 Blocks magazine.

Sneak peak for Mary C in Toronto

Greetings from Tulsa, OK. This block is entitled INDIAN STAR. Since Oklahoma has more American Indians than any other state, I thought this would be appropriate to send out of the country. I have never made this one, and since Mary does not have any preferences, this is what I chose. I hope you like it, Mary!!  Becky in Tulsa

Block from Staci

Block for Staci
My April block from Staci arrived on Monday - I let Staci know but it was cold and dark when I got my mail out of th box on Monday afternoon. Tuesday was spent out all day, so here it is Wednesday morning and I finally have time to sit down a post a picture, the block is wonderful and goes really nicely with my other blocks. I had only ever posted a peek of the block I did her so thought that I would show you both April blocks.

May Block SWAP - US/UK

This is going to be one of my favorite Blocks and I received it today from Sunny from Quilting Dreams.
It is a very nice star pattern and the colours exactly what I love.
Thank you Sunny. You are a Star!

and here is a teaser of the blooming flower Basket I made for you.
I know you like hexis so I included one for you.

We have opposite preferences for colours and Sunny requested soft, muted colours. I hope these are not too much for you.
It is on its way to way. Hope you'll like it.

Sneak Peak - May Block for Jennifer D. (In NJ)

A tiny hint of what's to come.  It should go out in the mail later this week.

One I made, One I received!

I apologize for the picture quality. My camera is dying. Dropped it one to many times, I think. I just wanted to show you what's up with me. One of the first swaps in this adventure I had Jorie for a partner and she has moved at least twice since then and somewhere along the move, my block for her got lost in the mail or something. I loved that block and I don't have the fabric any longer. That said, I told her I would make her another one someday. This is it!!! The block on he left is what I made for her. The block on the right is what I received for April! Love it. I think they are both pretty awesome! What do you think?

Sneek Peek for Natalie in OzI

I reckon you can use your imagination here, Nat! Sorry the pic is so blurry; cloudy & fuzzy day here.
Will be going in the mail hopefully tomorrow or Thursday

Gina! Here's your sneak peak!

I really like this fabric and this pattern, so I hope Gina does too!  To see the entire block pop over to my blog.

Sneak Peek For Staci

Staci here is a little peek of your block. I mailed it on Saturday but realized yesterday that I never put a note in the envelope lol. I was so happy with the way the block turned out that I send it out without thinking about my manners.

Staci asked for a block that had patriotic fabric and was either a house block, flag or traditional log cabin. After I finished cropping it I realized you really can't tell which design I used.  Makes it fun.

Sneak peak for Wendy

It has been a cold couple of days here in Sydney (Australia), time to snuggle down under a quilt or two. I have spent the morning catching up on some sewing, here is a sneak peak for Wendy, won't get posted until tomorrow (Wednesday), hope you like it Wendy. I have posted a full picture on my blog so if you don't want to see it until it arrives, don't go looking.

edit I got to the post office this afternoon, so it is on its way

Block for Sylvia

Here is a peek for Sylvia.  I am late(life has been crazier than usual around here)but she knows it is on its way : )  Her block request was for a pastel block of my choice that she could use in a baby quilt.  I hope this will work well with all the other blocks she receives!

Block for Lynette

Pat asked me to post this beautiful block that she made for Lynette.  Pat said she hopes that Lynette likes her choice of colors.
