Jan and Feb blocks

I finally finished my January block for Sara in Texas

And my February block for Laurrie in Canada

Hope ya'll like them

Getting caught up

Hi Folksies
I am running really far behind in sewing, posting, etc. Seems life went on hold while my babylock was in the shop for what seemed like FOREVER. I do however have a clean house temporarily. And since I had time for everything else, I cooked a lot and probably gained several pounds but I ain't looking in the mirror!

Here are a few blocks I was able to get completed and out.

This one was sent to Jorie. I enjoyed making the wonky star

This was sent to Carolyn in Iowa.

I have received a gorgeous star block from Carolyn; still need to take a pic of that. Also, thrilled with my partner for this month, Kathy S.

Have a great day everyone! And thanks to Linda for her continuing diligence providing us with this wonderfulness.

Just wanted to let you know that I will be sending out March swap partner information on Saturday, February  25 by noon PST.  If you don't get an email, please check your spam folder and if you still don't have one then please contact me.

So what does that mean for you?  It means that your February blocks must be in the mail no later than Saturday!
I had to remake my spread sheet for partner assignments because there were so many changes and removals that I was having trouble keeping everything straight.  As a result, you may have a partner you have had in the past but at least not for a few months.

AND

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE remember to make contact with your swap partner!!

Hugs,
Linda G

I just sent my block off to Susan...
Here is a wee peek...

...lots of HSTs.  I used Triangles on a Roll that I bought

See you all in March! XXX

Package for Agnes

I mailed the package to Agnes at 4pm Wednesday. The postmistress and I had quite a long conversation about what was in the package and the cost of fabric. She told me the limit for the package was 4 pounds, but I only sent a little over 1. Had I know that before I would have stuffed more lagniappe into it. LOL.

Block From Leona

Nancy H asked me to post this for her:

Nancy said " I received this lovely bear's paw block from Leona in the January swap."
