Block from Susan to Staci RECEIVED!

The postman brought a chubby, squishy envelope to me today.  It's my cute as can be block from Susan!  What a happy little house under the bright blue sky, and it has a lawn greener than I'll ever have here in southern Arizona.
That wasn't the only thing in the envelope, either!  She sent along this little mini quilt!  Susan said wanted to make her own pattern for a little quilt and try making it.  I think it was a fun experience for her, and isn't it good?  I love the little stars she quilted into the corners.  It will go up on the wall in my sewing room today.
Thank you, Thank you, Susan!  For the Great Block and the lovely SURPRISE!

Wow! Thank you Colleen!!!

Colleen sent me a stash of goodies with my beautiful block! It came in the mail this morning!!!!
She sent me a few extras to finish my quilt when all the blocks arrive! So sweet...Amazing...Appreciated!
I LOVE IT! Thank you Thank you Colleen!!!!
Come see all the
fun she sent HERE!!!

A Block Going Out to Cathy

Cathy just happens to like the same colors I do, so this was a great first Block Swap Adventure experience! She gave me a choice of two blocks - bet she knows which I chose!

Hope it suits you, Cathy!

Block received from Staci to Susan

I just received my block from Staci and she couldn't have done a better job. My favorite colors of teal, greens and blues, the pattern is wonderful and I am absolutely delighted. Thank you so much Staci. It looks like a great jumping off point for giving direction for the other eleven of my blocks.

Thank you Staci.

Kurt's Art Deco Accordion Block

Kurt received his block and seems to like it. I drafted it in EQ7 and used foundation piecing to get all those angles right on. It is bigger than 12 1/2" to give Kurt options in placement.
The picture does not show how deep the red is against that black and gray print.
I am very glad that I joined the swap. Keeping 2011 STRESS FREE.

New Block for Becky

This is my first block for this swap and I received a real challenge (but very enjoyable). I hope Becky from Tulsa likes it. I designed the 'Wonky House' on EQ7 as a foundation pieced block.

New Block for Colleen...

Well, after the beautiful block that Colleen made for me...I hope she will like this one.
I asked her for feedback...but I wanted to post a little peak of it...
Colleen wanted something with modern fabrics, and I added a little
whimsy for her too...
It's my window of Spring.
Oh, and thank you to all of you that helped me find a pattern for her -
Ready?

(p.s. I have read Colleen's comment...
so I am posting another picture.)
