Here is Kim's block (for December) in black & white since she already knows the design of her block!
I wish I could have figured out how to do this without paper piecing!

***Announcement***
After much thought and consideration, I have decided that December 2012 will be the last swap for Block Swap Adventure. If someone would like to take over the group, I would be more than willing to help you get started and send you all the swap member information.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as your swap hostess and making so many new and lasting friends. I hope you have enjoyed your time here and that most of your swaps were successful.
Please complete your December obligation and continue to share your blocks here on the blog.
It's been a fun two years! Thank you!!!!!
Hugs,
Linda G

Nov Blocks for Janet in Canada
Well I did make a block for Janet. I read her directions several times. It seem straight forward but for some reason I could not wrap my mind around it. I did email her and still for some reason I am not sure what she meant. ANYWAY, I made 2 blocks. One is more traditional and one is scrappy the way I think Janet really wanted. It is the same pattern but one is 2 1/2 inch blocks and the other is 2 inch blocks.
It took me way to long to do the 2 inch block. I didn't realize to what extent I am a control freak. Even with scrappy, I just had to give it unity some how.
I like them both.

For Miss Ida~
I had so much fun swapping with Ida from Texas this month!
She was so sweet and had made my block immediately.
Then she received a e-mail from me letting her know it was
a different color! (oops) I told her absolutely send the one
she had made and that was fine!
I was tickled that it was made & she is so nice.
Of course that would be fine with me!
As how would she of known!
Let me tell you after all was said and done I got her package...
and look what she did................................................................
Yes, she sent me two blocks!
Can you believe that! What a sweet special swapper!
Thank you so much dear Ida, I love them both! SMILE
Yall have to visit her blog,
when we did my lil-girl asked..."are you swapping with Dorothy"! Ha!
www.mysismademe.blogspot.com
Now.....on it's way to Ida is a block from scraps that was a challenge for me!
Oh my no, not the block, however I am used to doing colors that are the pick....
you know what the swappers put for the "COLOR" they'd want so on I go or
we will go to the store as I never have just the right ones....So I have told my hubby that
I need to look at new ones! ha! (hum...) Okay I love to go look for fabrics! Smile
Any way...I love the look of scrap quilts, blocks etc....just try to pick the "right" ones?
So...I grabbed a lil-stack from something one of my girls did...and here we are the end results!
We also added a lil-surprise to the envelope!
Ida~ I do hope this goes well with your collection & I thank you it's been a blessing!
Blessings~ Lori

Block for Marina
This went in the post today. As it's going from the UK to the Netherlands it should be there nice and quick. Maria asked for a Log Cabin Block in batiks I hope this fits the bill. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo but my camera has just decided to die and this was taken on my phone.

Wonky Star for Shannon E Wagstaff
Hi Block Swappers!
I am new to this group and I am learning what is expected of me. I have been quilting for over 25 years and I really enjoy block exchanges. The Wonky blocks are new to me so I had fun making this one for Shannon.
