January swap partners

Hello everyone!  I am going to send out the block swap partners tonight.  I know it's a little early, but since the 25th is Christmas, I thought having them in advance would help with planning (or if anyone is sewing this weekend).  Please let me know if something is wrong with the emails or such! This is my first time!

I would really like to see more teaser pictures.  If you don't know how to take a teaser picture, you can use a full picture of the block, and go to http://www.picresize.com/ you can upload your picture, then crop a piece of it out.  You can also email them to me and I would be willing to crop it for you! When you post if you would tag it as teaser & january 2013.

Also please post pictures of the blocks you receive, along with letting your partner know that you have received the block!  When you post it if you would add the tag January 2013

Here's the block that I received from Shannon from the December Block Swap Adventure. I requested the Churn Dash block, but how did she know that I just LOVED orange? I don't know if the picture shows the detail, but the cream background fabric is gorgeous too. Thanks, Shannon! I love it.

I have decided to take a break from the group, I asked Linda before she also decided to take a break to take me off the group. I have found a group here in Australia that does the same sort of stuff but it is all Australian so postage is always $1.20.
My last 2 blocks are the same  Ruth in November (yes it is late - life got in the way) wanted any block in pastel fabrics and Susan for December wanted  any star in floral or pastel. This block when you make the hst you end up making 2 blocks. I picked the softest pastels in my bright stash to make them.
I hope this group goes from strength to strength and you continue to enjoy making block for each other, for all my partners over the last 2 years thank you for your lovely handwork.
