Kathy asked for Churn Dash and it is kind of difficult to be too sneaky here but Kathy your block is done and on it's way to you tomorrow!

I also want to show you the pretty block that I received from my swap partner, Samantha, for December.....look at all this wonderful "scrappiness".....and the block is appropriately named, "Scrap Bagger".......Thanks Samantha....I Love It!

September Blocks Received

This is the pretty block I received from Karyli for September.  I asked for a scrappy block and this pattern was one of my choices.  Thanks, Karyli....It goes great with my other swap blocks.   I love it!  

And here is the block I sent to Karyli, who asked for a block in red, white and blue (but not patriotic...more nautical)

My Blocks for Raelene

Ok now that I received Raelene's blocks and posted them and I know that she has received the ones I sent her, I will show you what I sent to Australia:

 Raelene asked for any block made with Japanese fabrics and I toyed with a few ideas and I think this is what I ended up sending her (without the lace).........unless I did a curve setting on the Geisha at the top right corner....can't remember.......Raelene is this what I sent you?

With this month's block exchange, I changed my request from basket blocks to patriotic star blocks.  My new quilt got off to a wonderful start with not one but two beautiful stars from Ida.  Woo Hoo!!
