Lookie!

With this month's block exchange, I changed my request from basket blocks to patriotic star blocks.  My new quilt got off to a wonderful start with not one but two beautiful stars from Ida.  Woo Hoo!!

To Sunny - Nov. and Dec

Sorry Ladies, I think I got busy and didn't post my November block from Susan McA, and now the December block has arrived.  Pretty soon I'll have to start thinking about how to put my quilt together, and start a new theme.

November block from Susan McA.   When Susan told me all that she had been through in November, I told her to just skip a month and not send me a block, but this little beauty arrived in the mail.

I couldn't get it to photograph very well, so you'll have to take my word for it's beauty.  I love this pattern so much that I actually made a mini quilt of it a few months ago!

Then yesterday my mailbox was overflowing with squishies, and one of the envelopes contained my December block from Shannon.  These colors just make me happy!!

A beautiful block from Lynette

Oh My.  Each month I get another beautiful basket block, and they're all so different and so original.  These are some seriously talented women!!  Here is my October block from Lynette. 

I think this is my 12th block, and I plan to photograph them all together soon.  Can't wait!
