Sue's block has arrived

When I went to the letterbox this morning,
a damp package was waiting for me ;-(

It was the block from Sue.

Unfortunately, the terrible weather here in Adelaide has taken it's toll ;-(

The reds have run ;-(

On a positive note, I do so love the fabric with the gold words ;-)

I adore the block, have read about some thingies (yes that is the technical name) that are good to use when fabric dyes run I will see if I can find it.

PS. I'm in Adelaide too :)

I know you want to find a way to get the red out, but it is a block with a story...I like that : )

oh... here is the post I was thinking about, it doesn't actually mention anything specific... BUT... it is hilarious and you might be interested.

The block is beautiful. I'm sure there must be a way to remove the red. Wet weather is why I always wrap my blocks in plastic wrap or a baggie before mailing.

I agree with Elizabeth. A block with it's own story. It is a lovely block indeed.
Always blessed,
