Here are the blocks I received from Donna P in Edmond, OK. Thank you Donna, They are beautiful!
Ok now that I received Raelene's blocks and posted them and I know that she has received the ones I sent her, I will show you what I sent to Australia:
Raelene asked for any block made with Japanese fabrics and I toyed with a few ideas and I think this is what I ended up sending her (without the lace).........unless I did a curve setting on the Geisha at the top right corner....can't remember.......Raelene is this what I sent you? well anyway, I also sent Raelene the Crazy Block below
This pretty block arrived yesterday from Brenda in Washington. It fits perfectly into my collection. It's the last block needed for this quilt. Thanks, Brenda!
Here are all my blocks together. I requested a block with orange or yellow or orange and yellow. The design of the block was up to the maker. Thanks everybody! This isn't the final layout. There will be some sashing involved too. I haven't decided on the sashing fabric yet. Have a great weekend!
For my next set of blocks I have requested churndash blocks with a cream background. I can't wait to start seeing them!
Just look at this gorgeous block that came in the mail from my partner, Raelene today. It is called "Wild Zinnia" and is a paper pieced block. Raelene did a fabulous job...look at those gorgeous points! ..............and she didn't stop there because she also sent me this ScrapBagger Block too.......
Look how nicely they look together........Thank you so much, Raelene! I love them both!
All the stars were aligned and my grandmother must have been watching over my shoulder from heaven today. I love the way Karen's block for the August Block Swap Adventure came together. I'm shocked that it's done already for August. I just couldn't sleep after working my midnight shift. Here's a sneak peek:
Now i know this isnt a place where i am suppose to solicite,
But i know that you would all feel the same way.
Due to the recent events in Aurora Colorado, (you can check out the cbc reports if you havent heard, I wont repeat it here). The Quilt ministry i run Sown in Peace is sending a prayer quilt to the city of Aurora. http://sowninpeacequiltministry.wordpress.com/
We will pray over it for healing, peace, justice. We would love your help. Making this a World wide effort, If your interested in donating a block or just fabric in aurora borealis like colours that would be a huge blessing. We are asking for 12.5 x 12.5 blocks be in the mail by Aug 11/2012 email me for mailing details sowninpeacequiltministry@rogers.com
I just remembered we have a new member joining our swap. Please help me welcome Rosalyn. She is joining us from Georgia.
While I'm here, I'm going to remind you all that your blocks are due out in the mail tomorrow! I can't believe the month has passed so quickly. If you are going to be late, please let your swap partner know immediately.
I will be sending out emails with swap partner information for August tomorrow, Wednesday, July 25. Please contact me if you do not receive your swap partner by 5:00 pm.
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. I still can't seem to find enough hours in the day to get everything accomplished.
Charlene asked me for any block in black, white and red and if you have been to my blog you will know I have a thing for "starflower" blocks. I wandered through my stash to find some red, black and white fabric and this is what I made. I will post a full picture on my blog and it is on its way to the USA.

I requested a scrappy block and this is one of the patterns I chose...It is called "Goose Creek Block"......I love the adorable Sumo Wrestler and the matching Japanese fabrics Karen used in the upper left quarter.......and look at the clever way she used a patch with directions on the opposing side........Love it! thanks, Karen.............
And now that I received my block I can show you the block I sent Karen..........she requested the "Signature Star" block in red, burgundy, black and white.........below is the block I made for her:
Here are a couple of sneak peaks for you. The first block I made I wasn't satisfied with but am sending it to you anyway. The second block is way better - at least I think it is, but then again what do I know being so new to piecing. I did so enjoy making them though - thanks for stretching me because I'm not sure I ever would have done these on my own, but I'm so glad I did - even the yucky one but I do hope you like them and can use even the not-so-good one which is in the second peak and not the first.
Lots of Love

American by birth and MOUTH but
British in every other way
This is my July block that I hope to get in the mail to Sandra R tomorrow ... it has a ways to go before it gets home to Woodbridge in Ontario ... but will be there in no time at all....
Here's the awesome block I received from Lori in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Aren't the colors great? It fits in my group perfectly. Lori also sent some brochures about Frankenmuth, MI. I haven't been there, but I know my parents and my aunt and uncle had wonderful trips there. Thanks, Lori!
And while I'm here, let me introduce our newest member, Tara from Ontario, Canada. Her blog is Sown In Peace - check it out when you get a chance. Please welcome Tara to our group!!
I made you two blocks because one isn't quite the right size. I am so sorry but hope you can make use of it. They are winging their way to you now.
Lots of Love Patti xxx
I really love this block Pamela, thank you so much. I know you signed it on the front by mistake because you thought you had to and put in one wrong color block. I can't see where to be honest and if I can figure out how to replace the block that has your signature on it I will do it. Please excuse the rotten photo taking. The points aren't really missing - it's my photographic skills - bad aren't they!!!
I have never done a Wonky Star before Shannon wanted that type of block. So this is a little peak for you. I was really worried about doing this, so I procrastinated for far too long, but I did it and you should have next week and I really really loved doing it. Thank you so much Shannon for giving me this challenge - I now feel I can do anything and can't thank you enough.
I'm really sorry about my rotten photo taking but this block is truly beautiful and so me. It is red, white and blue which are my country's colors even though I live here in the U.K. and have for a very long time I am still American at heart and sole and this so shows it. Thank you so much Shannon I really appreciate what you have made for me.

Thank you Masha for this beautiful block and I'm so sorry it took so long to get it posted. It really does take at least a month to get mail from Russia! Thanks I love it!!!
you can't imagine how happy I am! :) I've got two blocks instead of one, I've got a piece of very lovely fabric, a lot of different stamps at the envelope, and all this things arrived to me for my birthday! :)
so, thank you, Jessisca, very much! I love both blocks, especially that "not right" block :) it's very nice!
