Blocks for December & January

Annie, my swap partner for January has let me know the block I made for her has arrived safely.

Annie asked for "Anything but I really like stars, bear paw and churn dash ..... in Blue ..... with bright whites as contrast".


I am glad you like your block, Annie.

I have also received a beautiful block from Colleen for December, along with some beautiful extras ;-)

I need to take a photo when the light is a bit better, and will post a pic soon ;-)

Sneak peek for Cathy in Australia

Psych!  I packaged it up before I realized I had not take a picture!  I give you a clue...it took some logistics to make.  Get it?  Anyway I wanted to thank everyone in Block Swap Adventure and Linda for a great year!  Im taking this year off to work on my multitude of UFOs.  Oh wait a minute.  I found some pictures I forgot I took.

And Second here are all the blocks recieved.  Sunni sent me two so I now have 12!  I love how green aqua and red became the theme.  And all of the blocks are so different!

Check out the last two great blocks on the bottom-a Christmas Peony and Cathy's great block with Aussie fabric.  Love them!  So thanks for a great collection of blocks I would like to make into a quilt for my future camper.

March blocks received

I had too many swaps going on in March.

  I did double duty in March for this swap too. 

So when I received this block near the begining of April,

 I thought wow my April partner is on the ball after a series of emails, she has nailed it!  Great, awesome block!  Oops!  She emailed me back after I thanked her and said she was still working on my block!  LOL!  Actually this beautiful block was made by the wonderful Brenda who joined our group last month!  Thanks Brenda!
